Héctor Abad Gómez Museum

This UX/UI Case Study documents the design and web layout of the digital platform for the School Museum at I.E. Héctor Abad Gómez (“Un mundo de murales, no de muros”). As the Web Designer and Front-End Layout Developer, I translated the historical memory and artistic legacy of 24 community murals in Medellín’s Niquitao neighborhood into an intuitive, accessible web experience centered on human rights, cultural diversity, and social inclusion.

The project combined structured information architecture with interactive digital storytelling, bringing key features to life. Including an Interactive Mural Museum organized by room and year, a Pedagogical Timeline, a Volunteer Hub, and an Audio Gallery featuring community stories. Every interface element and user flow was crafted around “Niqui,” a custom mascot guide designed to enhance navigation and foster an engaging, pedagogical connection for the educational community.
