Tejesueños

Tejesueños is an award-winning transmedia universe designed to preserve and represent Wayuu culture, honoring Colombia’s rich indigenous heritage and ethnic diversity. Recognized at Los Premios Huella as one of the top communication faculty projects at Universidad de Medellín, it integrates video games, VR/AR, interactive storytelling, audiovisual content, and web platforms into a unified narrative ecosystem. Moving beyond standard documentary formats, it builds a fantasy storyworld rooted in Wayuu symbolism that invites users to actively reconnect with cultural lore across multiple touchpoints.

Currently featuring a functional prototype, the project encompasses games, video mapping, soundscapes, and an interactive web platform in active development. Its visual identity blends desert landscapes, traditional textiles, and a dreamlike aesthetic that bridges physical and spiritual realms to celebrate cultural memory through digital innovation.
